I am going to Bologna for two days next month, Any suggestions for "must sees" while I am there? Has anyone stayed at the Paradise Hotel?

Take the walking tour that leaves from the TI office near Piazza Maggiore (not free). Great way to see some of the main sights and learn the history of this University town. Climb the tower Torre degli Asinelli for a spectacular view.

Hi Carol,
We are going to be in Italy next month (end of March) and wanted to stay in Bologna as well. We were not able to find an affordable, available hotel and decided to change our plans and stay in Verona instead. Maybe a convention in town during our scheduled time--I'd check on hotel availability ASAP. Good luck!

I've heard the same warning about Bologna hotels. Bologna is a HUGE convention city and can completely book up then.
Also, as with any request on this board, type in "Bologna" in the Search window on the upper right of the screen to find what other people have already written.
