Bologna overnight and Ducati

We will take the train from Venice to Bologna so my partner can go to Ducati and we will eat all day. We may spend the night if our res at Osteria Francescana does not come to be. Any tips on a cheap hotel for 3 adults in Bologna that is very quiet and great location? We'd like something a bit traditional or local in flavor and our budget is less than 250 USD for a large room .

Cheap is relative term, but we stayed at Albergo Centrale in 2018. Very close to pizza maggiore, and not noisy.

The Ducati museum and factiory is about 40 minutes west of downtown Bologna. Public bus Line 13 runs from the Bologna historical center to near both. Looks like tours are offered twice a day. We stayed near the museum and factory at the iH Hotel Amadeus. The hotel was nothing special, but quite and clean, and it was fun to share the breakfast room with excited pretour guests. The closeby restaurants were nothing special. I recommend having dinner in Bologna and then busing to the Ducati area after or the next day.

I stayed in a monastery in Bologna (monastery stays.com) and had a private room with en suite and a small balcony within walkable distance from downtown, about 5 min, for a reasonable price. Not an active monastery, more a center for lodging. Curfew was a reasonable 1 a.m. and breakfast was included.
