Bologna on Easter Day & Day Trips from Bologna?

I am leaving on Tuesday for one week in Bologna.

Does anyone have suggestions for what to do on Easter Sunday in Bologna?

Also, what are the best day trips from Bologna? I would be willing to travel up to two hours from Bologna, but probably not too much more than that.

And does anyone know whether the trains run on Good Friday and the Saturday before Easter Sunday?

Thank you!

We did Verona and Ravenna from Bologna. Easy day trips. Verona was a bit further, but the city is very pretty.
Ravenna has the monestary/church/museum and some good food too.

Verona is the place to purchase Balsamic Vinegar, but expect stores to be closed each Sunday.

Have no idea about the trains, but I can't imagine that a there wouldn't be one...people still travel on holiday. Might be a reduced schedule.
