We are planning a trip to Italy later this year which will include taking a train from Florence to Venice. Does anyone have any experience with or details about luggage storage at or near Bologna Centrale Station? We would probably arrive mid-morning and leave for Venice 5-6 hours later after touring Bologna.

From the municipal tourism agency website for Bologna Centraal:
"Among the services the station also has a luggage room, open daily from 7.00 to 22.00 located in front of binario 7 Ovest (track 7 West). Tel. +39 051 9912643
and it is manned by the police station every day 24 hours a day. Tel: +39 051-25872 "

The luggage storage at Bologna is easy to use and is usually not that busy.
