I’m looking for Bologna hotels in the city center, hopefully less than €150. Thanks!
Martha, last summer we stayed at the Albergo Centrale Bologna, in the city center. The double room, with en suite bathroom, was €104 per night, including breakfast.
The location was very convenient, and the hotel was fine. It wasn't our favorite of the trip, but there was nothing wrong with it. The room was small, but that wasn't surprising. We had a big window, and a mini fridge. The hotel had a/c and I think an elevator.
There was another hotel owned by the same people; we almost missed a tour because the driver tried to pick us up at the other address, so the other option might be worth looking at, as well.
The breakfast was okay, as well. Coffee and water both came from machines, and there was a small but adequate buffet, including cold cuts and fruit. There was probably cereal, but I don't remember. I don't think there were any hot foods. I suspect the breakfast might be better this year; last year several of the hotels at which we stayed were just coming out of Covid protocols and breakfasts were sparser than they had been previously.
There was a good trattoria, the Mariposa, right across the street.

This looks great and the price is perfect! Thank you so much for your reply.
