Hello,
We will be in Bologna in mid-October. We'll be visiting Bologna and doing day trips to Ravenna, Venice, and Florence. Interested in recommendations for your top picks for restaurants. Our Airbnb is south of Piazza Maggiore and close to Palazzo Albergati. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
I loved my meal at Trattoria Da Me laxt fall:

Da Cesari was really good, too.

We like Rina Sfoglina so much we went 2 out of the 4 nights we were in Bologna. No reservations. In winter, there are no lines. In summer, there are long lines. Food is delicious, inventive and not expensive. I think there was a chalkboard menu in English.
Osteria Broccaindosso - get the daily special, whatever it is
I couldn't get a reservation, but my food tour guide said Vag in Ufezzi was his favorite restaurant in the whole city
