I'm trying to decide how many days to stay in Bologna. I will arrive there Saturday early evening. I am thinking of going to Ravenna on Sunday, I have a tour planned for the different factories on Tuesday (Cheese, Balsamic Vinegar, Parma Ham). Therefore, I have Monday. I know I can go to Modena and Parma in one day. Another possibility would be Ferrara. Another suggestion was Montova. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks

Sandi, keep in mind that Mondays most museums are closed, if you are interested in visiting anyplace in particular. I've been to Ferrara, Mantova and Ravenna and they are all beautiful. My favorite is Ravenna, but each is worth a visit. You can probably visit Ferrara and Mantova in a day.
