I have a very early flight and with the covid testing, would like to have a cute bed and breakfast by the airport in Bologna. Most postings are from many years ago and wanted to know if anyone had suggestion? I was hoping not to spend my last few nights in a big hotel. I have been to Bologna before so being in the city center isn't important to me. Help....y'all have been wonderful to make my trip happen :)

Look at Hotel Risorante Emi. It is only a kilometer or two from the airport and gets excellent reviews.

When flying out of BLQ I always stay at the hotel below, right next to the airport. They have a shuttle to the terminal that starts very early in the morning.

It used to be a Sheraton Conference Hotel, so it is that type of fancy American style hotel and conference center, but it is inexpensive, and every time I stayed in it, it was always pretty empty (maybe because nomconferences were taking places).
