We are traveling to Bologna for a night in Nov. Did anyone have a special hotel they loved from their summer travel that you might recommend? How about an amazing lunch and dinner spot?

Hotel Metropolitan is a favorite for many. What type of dishes are you most interested in trying. Bologna has many excellent restaurants. Do you know what day of the week you will be in Bologna?

We enjoyed a local hotel, Novocento, in historic center. Parking adjacent.
There are so many outstanding restaurants in Bologna!

thanks, we want legit Italian food, local cuisine. I envision rustic and lesser known to tourists...I need seafood for me, the others eat everything....We will be in Bologna on Monday night in mid Nov.

Try the small restaurant Sette Tavoli. As indicated by the name, there are only 7 tables, usually occupied by locals. Food is great and the restaurant is only about 5-10 minute walk from city center.
