Metropolitan or Il Canale would be 2 maybe worth considering.

We stayed at Albergo San Vitale in May for €222 for two for three nights, no breakfast -- not the Ritz, but clean and comfy (Wi-Fi in the garden room #101 doesn't work IN the room but the hallway has benches.) Near the Two Towers and bus to train station. If €222 is your budget for ONE night, you probably would prefer something else.

Will you have a car? We've stayed at the Savhotel several times. They have great rooms, great staff and great breakfat buffet. They also have parking and are close to a bus stop for getting downtown easily. Bologna is wonderful. Many great sites and the food!!
