Greetings, All -
We will be visiting the Biennale in Venice with one overnight in Bolgna before going to Tirana, Albania. Does anyone have any experience/information about the best way to do that? Take the train back to Venice and fly out of there to Tirana? Or go to Florence and fly out of there? (I've heard that's a long layover...) Any ideas for us? Many thanks in advance!

Just fly from Bologna to Tirana. Why go back to Venice to fly there? Check skyscanner.com for your dates, there are some non-stop flights from Bologna to Tirana.

Jeanne, I assume you mean Bologna, yes? According to RometoRio.com, both Alitalia and Blue Panorama, which is a low-cost Italian airline that I myself have never heard of before, have direct flights from Bologna to Tirana, with flights taking about 95 minutes.
