Any recommendations for best site for online ticket purchase? I see a bunch but not sure which are most reliable. Thanks!

Susan, there's really no need to pre-purchase tickets in advance as queues are not long there. Otherwise, here's the site (under "Giardino Boboli"):
Note the the ticket (bought online or at the gardens) includes several of the galleries on the grounds.

Thank you both! I wasn't sure if there was an advantage to advance purchase, but if not, then all the better.

Be sure to walk up to Fort Belvedere from Boboli Gardens. It is just outside the gardens. If you save your admission tickets to Boboli Gardens, you can visit the Fort and you won't have to pay to return to the gardens.
I think the best view of Florence is from Fort Belvedere. At the Fort, they have a nice outside eating place where you can order drinks, sandwiches, and ice cream. Surprisingly, when I went, they didn't have gelato. Oh well.
