Boat trip from Sorrento to Amalfi

YES!!!! So much to see and so relaxing. I've done it a couple of different ways - directly from Sorrento to Positano and then on to Amalfi. And the much more fun 'holiday excusion' from Sorrento to a stop off of Capri for swimming (still one of my favorite stories to share) then onto to Positano and Amalfi.

I honestly don't remember how long the shorter trip took but I do remember the stunning views of the coast. Sure the bus is exciting (if you can get a seat and the seat is on the right side of the bus and sweaty tourists aren't leaning over you) but for me the boat ride wins hands down.

We loved the boat ride from Sorrento to Amalfi. Have done several times and was very relaxing. Can't remember how long it took but was in July and weather was beautiful. It is fun to see Positano from the boat too. Have also taken the bus from Sorrento to Amalfi and that is an experience too with amazing views. If you have time, you can take a short bus ride from Amalfi to Ravello where there are beautiful views especially from the infinity terrace of Villa Cimbrone.

I am also looking for a boat tour from sorrento to Capri and Positano, we want to swim and enjoy the views from the water. Is there a tour company you can recommend?

northwestern - Have not done this myself but this company has been running these popular boat trips for many years. Sorrento based tour company Golden Tours used to advertise the mini cruises but not for this year so I don't know whether there is an issue. However, I did see the cruise boat moored in Marina Piccola last month so it is still around. You can find reviews on line for the trips.

Thank you Linda for the suggestion. That is exactly the tour I am looking for. Unfortunately the reviews for last fall are not great and there is nothing for this year. Makes me a bit hesitant to book.
