Boat tours on Capri

Has anyone done the Mondo boat tour of Capri from Sorrento? Or Possibly Gianni's boat tours. We only have a day and I'm trying to figure out how to maximize our experience.

I'll be doing this next week with my family. Fingers crossed that we have a great time!

My family of four did the Mondo tour about 3 weeks ago. It was a great day and a good value. Not an abundant amount of time on shore, but a nice balance of time touring around the island. We were able to go in the Blue Grotto, take the chair lift up fro Anacapri for the views, and grab a gelato. Recommend.

I did this a couple of days ago
Pro
Takes hassle out of purchasing individual tickets
Friendly boat crew who always look out for your safety
Sweet swimming in the ocean
Boat ride around the Capri is truly worth it.
Unlimited soda and water
They pick you up at the hotel
Cons
Wished we left earlier from Sorrento so many people were there already when we got there.
Time on land too short
Blue grotto not done because of choppy water. If you are set on this, time it during the day and ask locals that know. People wait up to 2 hours for this and 4 minutes of glory. Locals say this is the best business in town 14 euros for 4 minutes. Watch YouTube video b4 you go and see if this is worth iyour limited time. It wasn’t for me.
If you have tendency for motion sickness you are better off with a larger boat (fits up to 12 only) I was queasy whole time n I don’t get motion sickness easily.
You are at the mercy of everyone returning on time. a couple in our group was late almost 30 min
Don’t expect a lot of wine not even 5 oz
I see the value in this but For me it would have been better if I purchased individual tickets on my own since I’m pretty independent. And would have organized my day more efficiently. If you don’t want the hassle if doing the work I recommend it; they are protective and trust worthy.
