Boat tour from Bellagio

I am traveling solo in April, spending 5 days in Bellagio. While there, I would like to take a boat tour of the lake. I am finding that several tours won't book a solo person. Is the ferry my best option? From Bellagio, does anyone have any advice on a tour company that might have a nice tour for a solo traveler? I am open to tours with other people, of course.

Thank you!

The ferry is always an option and much more reasonable than a private tour. If you have made reservations with a hotel you can email them and ask for suggestions on the type of tour you would like. I would pick another city to visit and take a ferry there and back. This will give you the opportunity to have a lake view from the water and see another city. Close to Bellagio is Varenna which is nice, but a short trip by ferry. If you haven't done so already, look up Lake Como on Google maps and see the enormity of the Lake. It will give you a perspective for planning. Enjoy.

We took a group tour of the midlake region on Varenna Taxi Boat Tours. The boat departs from Varenna, so you need to ferry over there. They have a website that lists all the tours they offer. I dont think going solo would be a problem. The young men who guide these tours are very personable. We enjoyed ours immensely. (We took the one that included a tour of Villa Balbiano. If you've never seen this villa and its grounds, it is worth the trip.)
