Boat to capri

How rough is the boat from Sorrento to Capri? I have a bad back and cant handle a lot of bouncing. I am thinking of the Mondo Rick Stevehs shared tour of Capri

I've done a local jet boat between the two with no significant bouncing that I recall, although the weather was also in our favor. The Mondo tour uses a smaller private vessel so experiences will be specific to that tour/weather on the day traveled.

We did the Mondo Capri tour on a very rough day, our tour was almost canceled
I don’t recall it being too bumpy or uncomfortable at all
We sat outside on deck

It was a fantastic tour by the way
Especially enjoyed the ride around the island
Lots of fun

Multiple independent companies use multiple boats depending on season and passenger load. Sizes range from 50 to 400 passengers. I've been on an air conditioned boat with no outdoor riding and 200 airline style seats. YMMV,

The Mondo tours are limited to certain number
There were just 8 of us on the boat plus 2 crew
Small boat

The mondo site will show you what the limit is for that tour and it won’t run if they don’t meet a minimum

We took ferries from Naples to Capri, Capri to Sorrento, Sorrento to Amalfi Coast and back. My spouse has a very bad back, many surgeries. No problems at all. The ferries are large. Rough seas stopped us from taking a small boat around Capri but finally were able to go on lady day when seas were calmer.
