Hi. Looking for some info on boat schedules and travel time from town of Como to Villa del Balbianello, to Bellagio, to Varenna. Can't find them online. Any help would be appreciated.

right now only showing the winter schedule but it will give an idea of travel time. You might have to fuss with times but there are pdfs available to download too.

I visited Villa del Balbianello in July 2012. I took a public ferry from Varenna to Tremezzo. Once you dock in Tremezzo, walk southwards a few minutes past the back gate to the Villa (which was locked) until you see a small dock/launch for a small private water taxi (I think it was 7 euros round trip). Contact the Villa before you plan to visit to make sure that it's not closed for a private function as it's a popular wedding venue. You've probably read that the Villa is well worth visiting... and it is! Enjoy! (I should add that I haven't checked the recent route; perhaps the ferry route has changed since 2012 and it might now stop at the Villa. However, I doubt it.)
