I plan to stay in Palermo, Cefalu, Syracuse and lastly Catania. I would love to visit the Aeolian Islands but I would be squeezing them in -- this is my first visit to Sicily and I'll have about 15 days on-land. I really want to be out on the water for some of the days so I'm wondering if anyone knows of any day-trip boating opportunities from any of the towns I plan to use as home-bases. Grazie!
