It would be helpful if you gave a little more information about what you mean by "one day". Do you have the starting and ending times?

One day off the ship from about 9AM to 5PM. Is it to much to cover in this amount of time?

I think it would be tight. Suggest just going to Sorrento.

I agree I think you would have to stay on the boat. What we did was take the train to Pomeii, Sorrento and Capri...from Capri the hydrofoil back to the ship. The next visit we took the hydrofoil to Positano and for the view took the bus back to Sorrento, then the train back to the port

Thanks to all for the insight. No! I do not want to spend all my time on a boat! With that said which would you choose? Sorrento or Positano?
