I am looking for suggestions of tour companies that provide sea tours along the cinque terre. We have walked from village to village on another trip and I thought this would be a new way to explore. Remarks from anyone who has done this would be so appreciated.

There is a ferry that goes from village to village. I really wouldn't call it a sea tour, but I enjoyed it very much. I took the ferry and then returned by train.

Thanks, Bob and Carol,
I wasn’t expecting to take a ferry as I feel R/S warned it could be packed with cruise ship passengers. Bob’s handy link to the schedule and a to take the train also gave me ideas. I really appreciate both your responses.

Sounds like you have the RS guidebook - he lists local boat operators in several of the villages - you should be able to book something structured according to what you'd like to see.
