BoA ATM withdraw in Italy

I have a Bank of America ATM card and I would like to use it in Italy. Could anyone confirm at which Italian bank I can make fee-free withdraws? BoA is part of the Global Alliance, and hence the Deutsche Bank should work (supposedly). I've been reading various conflicting experiences online - some say Deutsche Bank in Germany is without fee, but in Italy there is a fee (even though it's the same Deutsche Bank).

If this rumor about the Deutsche Bank is indeed true, please recommend a good currency exchange method also.

Thanks!

Jiuguang,
This is from the BOA site:
Bank of America is member of the ATM Global Alliance. The ATM Global Alliance is a group of financial institutions that has created the world's first international ATM Alliance.
Use your Check Card or ATM Card within the Global ATM Alliance in the countries shown with no International ATM fee, however, International Transaction Fees may apply. Some members may have locations in countries other than the country listed in the coverage area. Only ATMs in the country listed are considered part of the Alliance.

Bank Name Coverage Area
Bank of America North America
Barclays United Kingdom
BNP Paribas France
China Construction Bank China
Deutsche Bank 24 Germany
Please note: International transaction fees are not waived at Deutsche Bank in Italy.

Santander Serfin Mexico
Scotiabank Canada
Westpac Bank Australia and New Zealand

Just got a letter from Capital One stating starting August 2010 they will charge 3% fees on International ATM withdrawls. Check with your Capital One Bank.

Just got back from Rome/Tuscany/Florence and used my Capital One ATM card. They charged $1.50 Per ATM transaction.

I just called BoA and asked for an emergency number for Italy, it is 001 602 597 2395. I also asked about the Deutsche Bank, turns out there will be a 1% withdraw fee. Just in case this is useful for anyone.

Thanks Steve, Henry, Ru, and Leslie!

Ru, can you clarify what the Capital One letter said exactly about instituting a 3% fee for using an ATM card internationally as of August 2010? I just contacted customer service and was told there were no changes to their current policy, specifically the agent stated:

"With the ATM cards we offer with the money market savings accounts, there are no fees for using the card internationally. There are no changes to this in August."

I wonder if the 3% fee is related to another type of account or if the customer service agent was misinformed?
