Bluetooth earbud

Spending July in Italy. My wife and I both have downloaded audio guides. I'm curious about 2 things:

Could anyone recommend bluetooth earbuds that are reliable, and possibly have splitting capabilities so we could both be synced without wires?

Also, should I be concerned, while using audio guide in certain popular/crowded areas about being distracted by the guide and not being cognizant of pickpockets?

I used my Apple ear buds last year and found them to work just fine. Also, Google Translate is awesome. Speak into the phone in English and out comes Italian. Let them hear it and they will speak into your phone in Italian and it will translate into English.

There are a few products that can split audio to two different Bluetooth devices...but they can be cumbersome to set up, need power to work and may not worth be the hassle for the convenience. Like this one on this link <--this one has an internal battery that can be charged.

The best/easiest way is to have separate devices, download the app on each devices and have your own wireless earbuds paired with each devices individually.

OR

have and 3.5mm audio splitter that can connect multiple wired earbuds. (probably not what you wanted)

Another option is to buy the guidebooks(either printed or kindle) and simply read Rick's descriptions. Its identical to what is on the audio guides, and I find it less cumbersome.
