We are going to spend one day on Capri. Is it worth the time to see the Blue Grotto?
Thanks,
Craig
I can't answer with absolute authority, as on my one day on Capri the waves were too rough to permit entrance to the Blue Grotto, and it remains on my must-see list. As an otherwise land-locked Coloradan, far from the Blue Grotto unless I've made a pricey trip to Italy that requires having the time off to make the trip, it was going to be worth it for me. Just be aware that nature may have other ideas, so have a Plan B for other things to do and see on the island if the Grotto is off-limits that day. Enjoy!
I enjoyed it. If I remember right (32 years ago), it is rather small. You do get to see homes on the clifftops. I would go again.
We did this with our 2 kids on our first visit to Capri almost 10 yrs ago & we still talk and laugh about it. Although it is a bit cheesy as they paddle you around & sing "O Sole Mio" we are glad we did it. Was in the month of July with beautiful weather and boat ride out to the grotto was fun and scenic. Have been back to Capri twice since but did not do Blue Grotto again. Also if you go up to Anacapri you can take the mt solare lift up to some spectacular views. Enjoy Capri!
To me it was worth it.
Thanks everyone. We'll do it if the seas are cooperative.

I think it is. It's one of those things that you must do no matter what. Like going to Pisa and taking a photo holding up the leaning tower.
