I am leaving the Termini train station in Rome and my train for Florance has 1EST as the gate number and I cannot find it. I tried around gate 1 but cannot find it. Anyone know?

You have to wait until about 15 minutes before your train is due to leave and then check the departure boards for which track your train will be on. Look for the destination and the time of departure to get the correct train. Then go to that track and get into the correct carriage.

The ticket would seem to indicate that your train departs from Binario/Track 1 east. If you have a day or two before departure, I'd go to Termini and have another look as Track 1 won't be hard to find. Try to find someone that looks "official" and ask.
