We would like to ride bikes on the wall in Lucca, but with my wife's bad knee, I was wondering if anyone knows if they have those 4 person surrey type bikes that can rent. The ones that seat 4 of us that we pedal.

Having been to Lucca, I would suggest that a giant bicycle would be dangerous to pedestrians on the walls. Please don't do it.

A four-person bike would be unwieldy, but a two-person bike should not be difficult to come by.

Yes, we have been to Lucca several times and I can confirm that they have these types of 4-5 person bikes available for rent.

Yes! We were just there today. My husband and i rented regular bikes and we saw a couple of "surrey" types, however not at the place that we rented. There are 2 very helpful Information centers on the outskirts of town.
