Has anyone rented bikes (road or hybrid) to see Tuscany?

This is a loaded question. If you want to just for for a day...you can rent bikes in Florence. If you want a tour, there are several companies based in Italy that offer this. Are you a good bike rider? The hills of Tuscany can be a challenge if you are not in shape. Do you want a one day trip? A multi day trip? Self guided? Guided?
