We are going to be on a 2-week trip to Itay in May '24 and want to take a on-day bike tour and wine tasting through Tuscany. We are unsure if we should take a tour from Siena or Florence. Anyone have any advance on which is a better starting point? While not ready for the Tour de France, we are avid cyclists so not worried about it being too difficult. 😊 TIA!
We didnt' use this company for a tour, since we were on another one, but we did buy their bike jersey !

IMO, better to bike from Florence, more options than Siena.
Are you looking for more than a one day experience? Hard to tell from your question.
If you want a multi day tour with hotel stays - we have used Cicloposse for a 7 day trip in Umbria
They offer several that might be of interest for you, but sure if any start in Florence - check them out.

And we've used NicholsExpeditions several times for biking and hiking trips - all SELF GUIDED.
