Where would be a good place to rent a bike in Siena, and what would be a good one day bike route in or around that city? Thanks for your input!

Rod, Siena is quite a small town and can easily be walked. Make time to climb the tower.

Siena is not a good place to ride a bike IMO as it is seriously hilly in and around the main centre and the streets are full of people making it quite difficult even for cars to negotiate them. Walking is the best option and also safer for all concerned.
