Bicycles in Siena?

Traveling to Italy for the first time. I arrive in Venice after an overnight flight on the morning of Oct2nd. I plan to use public transportation the whole time as it will be just me and my fiance travelling and public transport seems like a fun way to go.
My itinerary is as follows:
Oct2-4 Venice
Oct5-6 CT
Oct7-8 Florece
Oct9-10 Siena
Oct10-12 Rome
Oct13 fly home

Question #1: Should I visit CT after Florence instead?
Question #2: When staying in Siena, are there bicycle rentals available? If so, is it feasable to bike to sourrounding villages?
Question #3: hows this itineary look? Should i consider renting a car for the tuscany leg of my trip or can i manage using bus/train?

If you want to bike outside of Siena to the surrounding hillsides, that would be great. We've done this a couple of times. I can recommend Cicloposse.com. They do day trips, and/or 2-3-5 day trips too. They rent bikes and do guided tours, or you could ask (if you are up to this) about a self guided tour, they arrange the route, you get a map and cues, and bike on your own (that's how we bike in Italy!!)

You can ask about a custom tour too, or ask for suggestions. Most other hilltop towns are 20-30 miles from Siena. If you have more questions, email me!
