Anybody done a bicycling trip around Italy. Did you enjoy it? Any recommendations?
Sorry, but your question is a little vague. Where in Italy? It's a big place. Too hilly in most places, as far as I'm concerned. Now, I'd prefer to take a motorcycle to tour the mountains in the north. It'd be an incredible experience.
It is meant to be vague as far as location. It can be flat. It can be hills. Not great but decent athletes. Father and 18 year old son. one week trip riding. June 2012
On a one week trip, you will not cycle through a fraction of Italy. Do you have a particular region of interest?
OK, I will give a vague answer. Goggle Italy and bicyling. Go to AdventureCycle.com for list of Italian touring companies.
Already did that. I was wondering if anybody had any experiences. And most tours are one week duration
Try Charnes Tours. They are online and offer numerous bicycle tours in Italy.

David - My wife and I have done 3 separate self-guided rides in Italy, using Cicloposse (www.cicloposse.com) each time.
Tuscany, Umbria, and Puglia were all fantastic in their own way. I highly recommend it as a great way to see the country.
