Better transport method La Spezia - Porto Venere

We'll go on a Wednesday in June. There're 2 options:
1. the cheaper but not reliable schedule by bus. it's said less than 30minutes to reach Porto Venere but the bus is likely to wait until it's full. Also I'm confused with which bus stop is it for the Porto Venere? Gmaps points me to Garibaldi bus stop at Via Giuseppe Garibaldi but another website points me to Mercato Nord Bus stop at Corso Cavour.
Got this bus schedule as well and not sure which stop to follow as the La Spezia FS Via Fiume only get passed by the bus in the evening it seems. https://www.atcesercizio.it/images/orari/inv/Linea11P.pdf

  1. by boat, much more expensive but also very few schedules. i also want to confirm based on the schedule in this link https://www.bestofcinqueterre.com/en/boat-timetables-history The earliest boat from La Spezia to Porto Venere is at 9.15am then the next one is at 10am? I wonder why the schedule says La Spezia or Lerici to Portovenere and 5-terre? as the boats to 5 terre and La Spezia - Portovenere is supposed to be of different route. I could not find the info on the boat duration as well.

I have driven that road a few times, it is curvy. The bus is easy though and quick. The bus is 11/P. Via Garibalid is the main drag. You will know when to get off. Take it as far into town as you can. It could be that the furthest stop is Portovenere Capolinea and you have to walk from there, downhill to the main part of town.

If you can take the boat is is a very enjoyable ride and very scenic. Lerici is a town further south from La Spezia. The boat likely leaves La Spezia then stops at Lerici then goes on to Portovenere.

by the way Portovenere is one of my favorite towns in Italy.
