Best Wine Tours Out of Florence?

Any recommendations on wine tours based out of Florence? Small groups preferred. Not picky about region, but most likely Chianti since it's just a day trip

I can't believe it's been 6 years since we took our Chianti tour with Tuscan Trails. Two fascinating wineries and an included lunch with more wine. The current TripAdvisor reviews are consistent with our experience.

I can most highly recommend Donatella Nonni / winetourintuscany.com. (check the reviews online) She does small tours from Florence & Siena. We did her Chianti tour in 2015 (my husband & I & four others) in a comfortable, small van and spent a wonderful day with her. In fact, we are using her again this fall. It is a very relaxed & intimate tour which gives you a good sense of the countryside, also. She is very knowledgeable so you will learn all about the regional wines. (she has many contacts so she rotates different vineyards) You can expect to have a fun day! *It is not cheap, but if want something better than the other cheaper tours offered online, you will find hers to be a good value.

Another vote for Tuscan Trails - we took the tour in the Fall of 2018. It was the perfect day trip.

We did Tuscan Wine Time by Grape Tours. It was pricey (120E per person) but I thought it was really good value. We toured 3 different wineries, trying various Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and Super Tuscans, along with olive oils made on-site. Very generous pours (the bus ride back was miserable) and good food at the final winery.
