Best Websites to Book Sight Seeing in Rome

I will be traveling to Rome end of May early June what are the best websites to book tickets ahead of time?

There are several good websites, cheapest is always the official website for each place. The broker sights charge a fee above the ticket cost, but if you are trying to book a lot of sights, a broker will save time. I use Select Italy when I have a lot of tickets to book in different cities, or if the official site is sold out.

As Zoe stated, the 'best' websites are usually those for the attractions themselves. You also only really need advance tickets for the couple of attractions with the longest ticket lines (Colosseum/Vatican Museums) and the one which requires reservations (Galleria Borghese). I've already provided you with the Vatican's website on a different post but here it is again:

Colosseum/Forum/Palatine (one ticket covers all three):

Note that tours of the Colosseum'sunderground/third ring must be purchased in addition to general entry tickets.

Galleria Borghese:

Bookings for the Vatican Museums and Galleria Borghese will require choosing a specific day/time slot as will tours of the Colosseum underground/third ring. General entry tickets for the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine can be used on any day until the end of 2016. They are also good for 2 consecutive days: the Colosseum can be visited on one day, and the Forum and Palatine on the day after or vice versa. What you can't do is split visits to the Forum and Palatine; they must be done on the same day.

It really depends on which sites you wish to see. You don't mention where you wish to visit so beyond the few listed by Katherine it's hard to say. There are several sites that require booking ahead of time. If you give us a list we can let you know if any, beyond the few already mentioned, need to be booked in advance.

Yep, Donna nailed it: there are some others which require advance reservations. I only covered the ones which tend to be on most itineraries.
