trying to find best way to travel from Ljubljana italy to ravinj croatia. Also wondering if it might be better to travel from from Koper italy to ravinj

Both Ljubljana and Koper are in Slovenia not italy
Also it is ROVINJ (not Ravinj)

You might want to look at a map for orientation. Best routing is a bus from Koper, SLOVENIA to Rovinj , Croatia. Koper is near Piran, Slovenia.

There are also ferries that go to R Roinj from points in Italy or Slovenia. I tooka ferry from Piran Slovenia to Trieste Italy. It was a pleasant change of pace and scenery from trains and busses if the schedule meets your needs. I enjoyed spending a couple nights in Piran.
