We are looking to purchase 4 tickets to see The Last Supper painting while in Milan for a date in June. I have found it very confusing looking at the many web sites. I am looking for the Official site. When I attempt to buy tickets on a site for a particular day, it says "that time is not available" and it wants me to purchase a package for a lot more money. Any ideas?
Try vivaticket.it.
What Zoe said. The ticket agencies seem to buy up the tickets from the official site before the rest of us can score them, so you are relegated to buying from the third party. Don't fret, just buy from Vivaticket and enjoy. It is a magnificent experience!
I'm visiting in June as well. According to Vivaticket, June bookings for Last Supper will be available for purchase starting March 8.
It may help to Google "Vivaticket Last Supper" - that took me directly to the correct page. Also, it helps to know that the Italian name for The Last Supper is Cenacolo Vinciano.
June tix are not on sale yet. The website will tell you when they go on sale - the exact day - and a month of tickets is reserved on one day. I set my alarm for 5 AM and got my tickets that day. By 8 AM many of that month's tickets were sold out.
This is the official site:

Tix for June go on sale on March 8. So get up EARLY that day and search!
Also, don't be surprised if you are required to buy an accompanying audio tour. I had to get one in Italian bc all the english ones were sold out, but it's a required part of the ticket!
You might want to preregister on the official website as well so you're all ready to sign in the day they go on sale. If you miss out, you can keep trying and says may open up. I kept the website open on The computer and refreshed a couple times a day for a couple weeks but was able to get tickets. It's a little hassle but was better for me than spending a lot more money for a city tour that included the Last Supper. Those tours are a fine backup if timing gets tight, but expensive.

When we went 4 years ago, I, too was frustrated by the website's lack of dates (http://www.cenacolo.it/the-last-supper/), so followed the advice in Rick's Italy book, and called (from U.S.) 011-39-02-9280-0360.
Best of luck!
