Best way to go from Rome, Airport to Naples Downtown.

We will be arriving from US into Rome in the AM. We plan on heading straight to Naples. We are picking up a car after our stay in Naples and heading south. How would you suggest getting to Naples? I was thinking of train but wouldn't I have to go from the airport into town to catch the train or is there one at the airport? Is there a bus that goes right from the airport to Naples?

It's simple. Take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini, and then a non-stop, high-speed Freciarossa train to Napoli Garibaldi. Buy your ticket to Napoli at Malpensa Airport (they have ticket machines there). Fiumicino airport is in the opposite side of Roma metro than the one where the highway leaves for Napoli. And even so, including the layover in Roma Termini, it would take longer to go by bus (if any exists, I'm not aware of buses there).
