We're going to Italy for 3 wks in September. What means of transport from/to Florence to stay at an olive farm located at Via Bozzo 50, Massa e Cozzile PT, Tuscany 51010? On a map looks like it's near Via Vicinate di Bozzo, past Pistoria west and north of Florence. I can not find any info if there are trains, buses or private cars that will take my wife and me.
is that for a visit or is this an agriturismo that you will be staying at?
It appears that the farm may be about 3-4 miles from Montecatini Terme, but I can't say for sure. I also have no idea about the condition of the road from the little village of Massa. There is bus service to Montecatini Terme (not necessarily every day of the week or at convenient times), and perhaps the rare bus to Massa. Under normal circumstances I'd assume you could get a taxi from Montecatini Terme, but not knowing the condition of the road/driveway to the farm...
That sounds like an extremely inconvenient place to stay without a rental car. I'd go nuts being marooned like that. Are you planning to eat all your meals at the farm?
The actual name of this farm would be helpful too. And does it have a website?
The Via Vicinate de Bozzo I'm seeing is near (tiny) Cozzile and Massa. Just at a glance, I would guess rental car is going to be the best bet by far. There looks to be bus service to both towns but my 2nd guess is that it wouldn't be a convenient option at all to/from Florence. You weren't thinking of day-tripping from this location?
Yes, without seeing what this "farm" offers, you'd very possibly be limited regarding meals and activities outside of the property without a car.
Here is the website via airbnb. The owner says she can get us back to Pescia from her farm.
This is from her posting: My husband and I are an Anglo-Italian couple, settled here in Tuscany for many years. We live in the farmhouse and make our own extra-virgin organic olive oil. We enjoy welcoming guests here, and do…Learn more

last email from her when I was worried about getting back to Florence so we can make our next stop in Sorrento was:
Hello Jack I can take to Pescia Station at around 8.00 am. We were staying 2 nights, basically 1 full day, then on to Amalfi area staying in Sorrento. Is it easy to rent a car for 2 days? Seems maybe easier using Uber-like transport?
I can not get to their website info w/o going thru airbnb.
