Best way to get tickets Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, Uffizi Gallery and Accademia

Julie, here are the ticketing sites you want:

Rome: Vatican Museums (individual tickets or tours); the Sistine is IN the museums so doesn't have a separate ticket:

All will require you to choose a specific day and time to enter the museums, and so reduce time spent standing in queues.

I am making a similar trip and have had no problems booking at the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, and others; But I have had difficulty with the two museums that you mentioned. I booked my tickets at the Vatican, payment was accepted and I can see my account but they never emailed me the voucher. I have since emailed them twice but have received nothing back. For the Uffizi, I wasn't even able to book anything. Their website says that the times are available but it won't let me select them. Has anyone else had similar issues with these two museums?

Will that prevent long lines?

If you get tickets on line on the above posted official sites, there is no reason to wait in line to buy the tickets. Nobody skips the security line.

Vatican Museums Did you use the official site posted above? Are you 101% sure that the transaction wasn't blocked by the Verified-by-Visa safety protocol? Did you check the spam folder?

Yes, yes and yes? It seems you don't need any voucher to enter, as long as you know the day and time you are supposed to be there.

I was able to get the Uffizi tickets. As for the Vatican - yes, yes, and yes. I do have my account with them so I will show up at the appropriate time and show that on my phone I guess.
