Best way to get from Sorrento to the city of Amalfi

There are three ways to get there:
1) Ferry, 1.5 hrs, ~$20
2) Bus, 1hr 40 min, ~$10
3) Taxi, 41 min., ~$45

Take the FAST ferry, or be on the boat way longer than needed.

We used the bus between Sorrento and Amalfi town. It was very crowded. Time of year of was October.
