We need to get from the Naples airport to the Hilton hotel in Sorrento. What is the best way to do this? Is the bus/train terminal right at the airport or do we need to walk a distance to get there?
The easiest is the http://www.curreriviaggi.it/inglese/E_index.html
Bus is right outside the terminal. Cost 10 euro, pay driver, 1H20m
Taxi to hotel
The bus stop for the shuttle bus to Sorrento moved from outside the Arrivals Hall a year or so ago. This guide has a map on page 7 which shows the new location.
When you get to Sorrento railway station (the drop off point for the bus) you will need to get either a taxi (15 euro plus depending on traffic conditions/items of luggage etc) or another bus to your hotel. Unfortunately the current local Sorrento bus timetables are unavailable at the moment but the tourist info people at the station (in an old converted railway carriage in front) are very helpful
An update. Have just found out that the Curreri stop has been moved to outside the Departures terminal. Much more convenient.
Here is another vote for Curreri Bus service. It is so easy and inexpensive. It's your best bet!
Have an awesome holiday.
