best way to get from FCO Rome airport to sulmona

Advice on best way to get from Rome Fiumicino airport to Sulmona - bus or train. Arriving May 6 around 10am

According to Rome-airport.info, there is a metro train at FCO near the Leonardo Express track. The metro goes to Roma Tiburtina, where you catch the train to Sulmona (one change, a out 3-4 hours depending on what where you transfer to the Sulmona train.

You could also take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini and then backtrack to Tiburtina.

Trains to/from Sulmona do not go to Roma Termini.
