I am a student who will arrive in Florence on Tuesday morning, January 31st. I need to get from the airport to Lorenzo de Medici University which is located near Mercato Centrale. Is there a best way to make this trip? I believe Florence has Uber? How much would a taxi cab be?

There is a bus, I believe every 1/2 hour, that goes from outside the airport to the train station, which is very close to the Mercato. Takes about 20 minutes, costs 5 euro or less (can't recall)
Volainbus for 6€ to the station and then walk 10 min.
Or taxi for 22€ plus 1€ per bag (flat fare set by the City) for the 4 mile ride.
No tip to taxi drivers in Italy please. The fares are outrageous enough and Italians don't have that tipping practice for anybody.
