Best way to arrive at Vatican Museum with limited mobility

I'm looking for the most streamlined way to arrive for entrance to the Vatican Museum (we have reservations) as my daughter will still be recovering from an ankle injury. In the past, the more walking the better has been our mantra when visiting Rome, this time things will be modified. Is Viale Vaticano 100 the best address to give to Uber to get closest to the entrance lines, and are vehicles able to get that far, or is there a better way? We've been to the museum several times, but always walking from Cipro or Ottaviano metro stops, never arriving by car. Thank you!

There is a taxi stand right outside the main entrance on Viale Vaticano so yes, vehicles can access that street and you can be dropped off there, and yes, that's where you should go. If you don't know already, official taxis are pretty much the same thing as Uber in Rome...meaning if you call for a ride on Uber, you're likely to get a taxi.

(Viale Vaticano 100 is also the address of a cafe (with REALLY lousy reviews) directly across the street from the entrance so use that as your destination address or just tell the driver Musei Vaticano; EVERY driver in the city will know where you want to go!)

To add: that taxi stand is mentioned on the official Vatican Museum website:

Thank you Kate, super helpful! And no, I didn't know re: Taxis vs. Uber...last time we were there was 2016 and we just used taxi a few times, mostly public transport or walked...I don't know that I even knew about Uber back then :)

There is a separate line (or lack thereof) for handicapped individuals.

"There is a separate line (or lack thereof) for handicapped individuals."

Yes. When I took my Mother to Rome on a bucket list trip she was in a wheelchair. We took a cab to the entrance and passed the long line that went down and around the block.

I went to the entrance to ask if she could wait there while I waited in line and they just waved us through. When I got over my shock, we did.
