I changed our car rental and now get it a few days later. Which means I need to find the fasted way from Airport to our B&B. Does anyone know how much and long it takes to go from point A to B ? Thanks
Leonardo Express train goes every 15 minutes, takes 32 minutes, costs 14 EUR. Buses take a little longer, are dependent on traffic, but cost less.
I'm with Sam: Leonardo Express train is your fastest option to Termini from Fiumicino.
Thank you for your fast answers. What about a cab?
Leonardo is very easy and direct and we've used it many times.
For the last two years we have been using romashuttle.com's limo service. They meet you as you exit customs, take you to their car, and then to your destination. The cost is around 48€, which is the same as a cab. Easy, easy...
If you decide on a cab MAKE SURE the vehicle has a meter and the Roma symbol on the doors.
Buon viaggio,
What time and what day of the week? If you have to meet someone and it's time-sensitive, take into consideration that if you're flying international, you have to clear immigrantion/passport control and no one knows how long that can take . . . or if your flight will land on time.
Cabs are always an option - although not something we'd personally spend $ on with other more economical options - but depending on what time you get into Fiumicino, they can have issues with heavy traffic slow-downs. Any way you look at it, if your B&B is close to Termini, the Express train is your fastest option.
RB thank you for the tip. I just reserved our shuttle to our hotel. I love this site so much ..
You are most welcome.
Go and have fun.
Buon viaggio,
Susanne,
The Leonardo Express is the fastest and easiest option as it's not affected by traffic, which won't be the case with Taxis or Shuttles. When arriving after a long international flight, I sometimes take a Cab from Termini to the hotel even though it would be easy to walk.
