Best way by train from Rimini (San Marino) to Manarola Italy

It looks like we have two choices one being Bologna, Florence, Pisa and on to Manarola....the other Bologana to Parma and then Manarola. I think we will be taking regional trains. Any reason one route is better then the other?

The route via Parma has only 2 changes and looks to be the quickest. The train from Rimini originates in Ancona, so you may or may not get seats together. The second leg originates in Parma, so you should get your pick of seats.
