Hello; My wife and I will be arriving in Venice on July 14th. Can anyone recommend a restaurant from which to watch the fireworks that night? Or else a good view of the fireworks from a location other than a restaurant? Thank you
Hank
My husband took me to Venice for my 50th Birthday on July 15th. How lucky to be there at this special time! Be sure and walk the floating bridge!! We were sitting at St. Marks having a drink when the fireworks began. Everyone jumped up and ran towards the canal, breaking glass, scooting tables, turning over chairs into the already crowded crowd. We found ourselves following everyone too. We could still see the firework synchronized to music just like our July 4th celebrations. I would recommend you scope out a spot along the canal around St. Marks and wait. Having been to Venice before, it was a unique experience! The canals are much more busier with private boats & yachts! They also gather to watch the fireworks.
