Best transportation from Turin to Malpensa Airport on a Saturday

Would it be best to travel by train to Milan Centrale and then take bus to airport? Or take bus from Turin to Airport for a 2 hour bus ride? Prefer train but that looks like longer, time consuming trip. Also, which train station is Milan Centrale--several stations come up for selection when entering Rome2rio? So appreciate your help.

Rome2rio often does not give very good answers. The bus is straight forward. Train can be 2 hours if you take a Freccia to Milano Centrale or Milano Garibaldi, then changing to the Malpensa express train to Malpensa. But those Freccia trains are relatively expensive. Base fare is 34 EUR to Milan, then 14 EUR for the Malpensa Express to the airport.

Look at a map: more or less Malpensa is halfway between Turin and Milan. So trains always involve backtracking. If you want to go from Torino Porta Nuova (or Porta Susa) to Malpensa Aeroporto you are not supposed to know where in Milan you have to change. Put Malpensa Aeroporto as arrival station and let the official website do its job.

I used Rome2Rio in the past, but sometimes it is just wrong: there is a reason if locals take the direct SADEM bus and not 2 trains.
