My family of 7 adults will need transportation from Praiano to Rome. What would be my best option? I’m trying to be cost effective. TIA

Bus, car service or (boat--note Christine's comment) to Salerno and then train to Rome

No ferry in Praiano so you’d take bus to Amalfi to catch it there, although depending on time of year the bus may already be full
The ferry ride to Salerno is fantastic and the train station is just a 10 min easy walk from port.
Or driver to Salerno then fast train to Rome
We used this service while in area for a few transfers
