Hi
we are hoping to visit Malta in June 2019 for 5 nights. Can anyone suggest the best town to base ourselves in?

I've been doing some research for a visit to Malta, and based on my findings so far I plan to stay in Valletta. There are a good range of accommodations there, and good transportation to get around the island. Valletta has been named as the European Capital of Culture for 2018, so there will likely be lots happening. I believe the Film Festival will be happening in June also, so it would be a good idea to pre-book accommodations.
If you have a Library or large book store nearby, have a look at a few guidebooks for Malta as they will provide lots of answers.
