Best tour operators for Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill - too late to find tickets?

For health reasons, I've waited til the last minute to arrange tours, etc. UGH!!

I've tried the Coopculture.it recommended in the RS Best of Italy book but nothing comes up for this attraction.

Is it too late to find a good tour?
I wouldn't mind on my own using RS audio guides. Just worried about getting entrance tickets at this point.

It looks like there may be some options through VIATOR (haven't checked for availability yet). How do I determine best options. I'm looking for a thorough tour that covers all 3 sites (2-3 hrs approx).
This is my first time in Italy (going with my 22 y.o. daughter).
I welcome all recommendations.

If you can’t get tickets thru official site linked above ( are you within the 30 days?)
Look at tours with
Walks of Italy
Or
The Tour Guy

Viator goes not operate any tours -they are a reseller, just a middle man

Go to an actual tour company

I tried to get the tickets from the official website but now they only release 1 week at a time. For example i just checked they only have opening til 7/31.

That's not exactly correct. Tickets for some of the offerings, such as night tours, only release 7 days in advance but I've got the ticketing site up right now and general-entry (no tours or access to the underground, arena or attic) are showing on sale though August 23rd with lots of time slots open for booking. Tickets for 24-hour entry. arena only, are also available through August 23rd. Same for the € 24.00 Full Experience underground + arena accompanied visit (this is NOT a narrated tour; someone from the park staff is just with you through the underground) although it's showing as essentially sold out. Any ticket involving the underground sells out in a fat hurry once available.

The NEW € 26.00 "Colosseum Guided Tour" (does not include underground, attic or arena) ticket is also on sale through August 22nd. This tour is showing as only bookable for Mondays though Thursdays.

But the OP's issue is that they were looking for a guided tour which includes the Colosseum, Palatine and Forum. Parco Archeologico del Colosseo doesn't offer one of these although I'm very much hoping they add one in the future.
